Greater Valley school significant changes witnessed by the country in the last century

Change is the sign of the time. Change is the law of nature.What better means of getting this message through,than from our progeny. The students of Grade 3 and 4 of Greater Valley school highlighted some of the most significant changes witnessed by the country in the last century: India’s struggle for independence, Women empowerment and the Changing face of India’s education system.Ms. Sujata Singh SP – Rural Area, Gautam Budh Nagar, herself a symbol of an empowered Indian woman, very suitably graced the occasion as the Chief Guest along with Mr. Varun Bhati, Indian Athelete and winner of bronze medal at the Rio Paralympics 2016. Ms. Sujata complimented the teachers and the students for their confident and smiling faces, undaunted by the winter chill. Ms.Singh also applauded the school for providing its students with a plethora of opportunities for the holistic development of their personalities. Mr. Varun Bhati very rightly advised the children to pursue their dreams rather than burden themselves with the clichéd carrier options.Ms. Anamika Sood, Principal Greater Valley school,in her mesmerizing speech very aptly said, “Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”In a hair raising grand finale, which brought many overwhelmed audience to tears, the message was wide and clear: Those who don’t change themselves with time are changed by the time.
