Greater Noida (22/05/2023): DWPS, Greater Noida enthralled with activities on 20th May 2023 as the day witnessed an array of them being organized in the campus.
To begin, Karate Belt Exam was organized by Traditional Shito-ryu Karate Do association. Ten eminent schools from the vicinity including Delhi World Public School, DPS, Greater Noida World School, JP International School, Ryan International school, Father Angel School, with a total of 60 students, participated in the event.
The belt grading exam was conducted in the presence of Association Technical Director Kyoshi Kamal Thapa and Shihan Vimal Rana. The students were felicitated with belt, trophies and certificates given by the chairman of the institution honorable Kanchan Kumari and Principal Heema Sharma. They congratulated all the students and wished them the best in all their endeavors.
A Dental camp for parents and students was also organized by the ITS Dental College wherein Dental checkup was done and advise was given free of cost. An enriching Book fair, with more than 5000 books of various genres was yet another attraction of the day. It was sponsored by the Scholars Home. The kids and the parents showed keen interest in the fair and availed the opportunity to purchase the books. To inculcate a sense of sharing and caring, the students were encouraged to donate the books that are no longer needed by them, in the Book Donation Camp. The report cards were distributed to the parents and they discussed the progress of their wards.
The day concluded with the excitement for the ensuing Summer Camp and the commencing of the Summer Break for the Pre Primary and Middle wings.
