Elation, exhuberance and gaiety swathed the auditorium of DPS, Greater Noida on September 30, 2022, as the meritorious students of classes V to VII were honoured for their excellent academic performance.
The occasion was graced by a galaxy of eminent guests, Major General Kanwar Lalotra, AVSM, YSM, SM(Veteran) and Prof.(Dr) Haneet Gandhi, Dean Admissions, Delhi University. The imminent guests congratulated the students and encouraged them to stay rooted in our culture, work hard with more zeal,
and develop respect and concern for their teachers and parents. They motivated them to strive towards better life and blessed them for a bright future ahead.
The Principal, Ms. Sandhya Awasthi complimented the young achievers for their hard work and remarkable performance. She applauded the dedication and commitment of the students and parents. She reaffirmed the school’s focus on imparting holistic education through innovative and student-centric strategies.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by a soulful rendition of medley of bhajans of Gandhiji to commemorate his 153rd Birth Anniversary. In order to recognise the proficiency holders’s; accomplishments, certificates and badges were awarded to them. The auditorium reverberated with a thunderous round of applause extolling the brilliant academic performance of the children. The revelry rode to its final crescendo with the most fervent item of the day “Aneklavya” a dance performance with a brilliant blend of four prominent dance forms of India – Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Kathak and Chhau.
