Defense Ministry Scientist highlights the Fighter Aircrafts principles at I.T.S. Engineering College

Department of Mechanical Engineering, ITS Engineering College, Gr. Noida organized third webinar in its webinar series. This webinar was on, “Application of Gas Turbine in Fighter Aircrafts”.
The webinar had a wonderful session by Dr. U.S. Yadav, Principal Scientific Officer, and Directorate General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance, New Delhi (Ministry of Defense), for the enlightment of students, educationist and researchers. Dr. Yadav is an expert in Design and Development of Aeronautical Engineering products (Components) as well as system of aircraft and Aero-engines of Fighter aircraft. This includes; Fuel System, Hydraulic System, Pneumatic System, Flight Control System, Landing Gear System, Aero-engine (Combustion) System.
Dr. Yadav has published many research articles in International Journals & Conferences. His research articles are focused on Electrical Discharge Machining of Super alloys/Aerospace materials.
Dr. Yadav discussed about the basic principle of flight. He explained about various fuels and their compositions. He highlighted about the gas turbines used in different aircrafts including both the passenger and fighter aircrafts. Different types of aircrafts were shown and explained by Dr. Yadav.
Dr. Yadav narrated the importance of aeronautics and motivated the students to become the aeronautical engineer. In essence, this webinar helped students, faculty members and fellow researchers to understand the basic aspects of various technicalities of fighter aircrafts which will pave the way for more concerted efforts in this direction.
Dr. Sanjay Yadav, Head, Mechanical Department, welcomed the eminent speaker on behalf of the Mechanical Engineering Department and I.T.S Engineering College and emphasized the need of such technical interactions in future also. Prof. Manvendra Yadav, Event Coordinator introduced the expert and took the charge of webinar efficiently. More than 200 participants including students, faculty, researchers and industry persons attended the webinar. Dr. U.S. Yadav answered all the queries of participants. At the end of webinar, certifications to participants have been awarded in online manner.
