Ryan International School, Greater Noida organizes a Rangoli Making Competition

Ryan International School, Greater Noida organized a RANGOLI MAKING COMPETITION on Thursday 24th October 2019 to mark the upcoming festival of light “Deepawali”.  In the esteemed presence of Principal Mrs. Sudha Singh, the Rangoli competition was observed. She quoted “Such events inspire children to do something incredible and inculcate the spirit of competitiveness in them, which lead to mental enlightenment and enhancement of hidden talents in young minds”.

She highlighted the importance of colours in life and said Rangoli is a symbol of incredible and beautiful Indian culture.  Students created beautiful rangoli pattern on various concepts. Eco friendly colours were used. Classes were divided into groups and each group showed their creativity. All the Rangoli images were judged on various parameters ,such as selection of colours, designs, time duration, team coordination etc. First, Second and Third groups were awarded and consolation prizes were also With an aim to spread awareness about firecrackers causing noise, air pollution and numerous health hazards to human beings and animals.

Also Montessori students went out on an Anti cracker Rally in Grand Venice Mall,  Greater Noida. The young eco warriors carried colourful placards and raised slogans like “Say No to Crackers” and “Yes to life” to cultivate a sense of duty towards their environment and society. These enthusiastic tiny tots also reached out to masses present in the mall and enthralled the audience thought provoking slogans Celebration of festivals helps the children to understand the importance of bonding together, sharing love and happiness with togetherness. With this festive season going on little Ryanites of Ryan international school, greater noida involved themselves completely in festive mood and celebrated their joy with pomp and show.

Children wore traditional attire and briefed up about the festival with lots of zeal and thrill.
