School of Business today Sunday,March 3rd,2019 organised the internationally acclaimed Dabbawala lecture for its BBA and MBA students in Campus-2,GCET Auditorium.The lecture was delivered by Shri Sunil P Gavnde and Shri Sharad G More from Dabbawala charity.They educated the audience on what it takes to make their work worthy of so many awards and recognition nationally as well as internationally.
Time management, customer satisfaction and quality are the cornerstones of Dabbawala.The MBA and BBA students gained insights into the supply chain management network used by Dabbawalas to gain the reputation of ‘On Time Every Time’. The students gained tremendously from the first-hand experience of Dabbawalas with 129 years of experience.
Many questions were asked by the students,each of whom were presented with the trademark Dabbawala caps.The event came to a close with a vote of thanks by Dean,School of Business,Dr Sadananda Prusty.The session was actively participated in by more than 300 School of Business students.
The event was coordinated by Mr Jitender Kumar,Mr Ashok Kumar and Ms Manisha Singh.
