ITS Engineering College hosts Azure Developer Day 2024

Department of CSE and Allied Branches, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida hosted Azure Developer Day on 7th Oct, 2024, focusing on the world of cloud computing and the advanced capabilities of Microsoft Azure. This seminar was held in Sardar Patel Auditorium and brought together students, faculty, and professionals, offering in-depth insights into cloud technologies, application development, and artificial intelligence. Additionally, the event explored the potential for collaboration between the Microsoft Azure Developer Community, Reskill, and ITS Engineering College to drive future learning and development opportunities. Seminar was a huge success with more than 365 participants attending.

The day commenced with a warm welcome, setting the tone for discussions on the transformative role of Azure. Three experts from Microsoft—Mr. Saket Kumar, Mr. Vinay Pratap Singh Bhadauria, and Mr. Rajesh Panchal—shared their extensive knowledge in cloud computing, Azure infrastructure, providing attendees with practical perspectives on leveraging cloud technologies.

Dr. Mayank Garg, Director of ITS Engineering College, conveyed his pride in hosting this collaboration with Microsoft. He encouraged students to actively engage and explore the rapidly evolving landscape of Azure, emphasizing the importance of staying updated with the latest cloud computing advancements for their professional growth and innovation.

The event began with a Saraswati Puja and lamp-lighting ceremony, invoking the blessings of the Goddess of Knowledge to mark the auspicious start. Dr. Vishnu Sharma, Dean CSE, officially inaugurated the event with an inspiring welcome address, expressing gratitude to the speakers, faculty, and students for their participation.

The honored guests were presented with mementos as a token of appreciation, with Mr. Saket Kumar being felicitated by Dr. Vishnu Sharma, Mr. Vinay Pratap Singh Bhadauria by Dr. Jaya Sinha (HOD CSE & AIML), and Mr. Rajesh Panchal by Dr. Hariom Tyagi, Professor CSE.

During their sessions, the speakers covered a range of topics. Mr. Saket Kumar focused on Artificial Intelligence, providing insights into how AI can be leveraged for various applications using Azure’s robust platform. Mr. Rajesh Panchal discussed Cloud Computing with Azure, offering practical examples and demonstrations of cloud infrastructure and its benefits for modern businesses. Mr. Vinay Pratap Singh Bhadauria delved into Microsoft Copilot, showcasing its capabilities and how it enhances productivity and streamlines workflow within the Azure ecosystem. Each session included live demonstrations and real- world case studies, enabling participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of Azure’s capabilities. The interactive Q&A sessions encouraged active participation, allowing students and faculty to deepen their knowledge of cloud technologies and AI applications.
