UPITS 2024: Building Momentum with Media & RWAs Collaboration

Gautam Buddh Nagar, 30 August 2024: Shri Manish Kumar Verma, IAS, District Magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Noida (U.P.), held back-to-back significant meetings today at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, to boost the engagement and public outreach for the 2nd edition of the UP International Trade Show (UPITS 2024).
In the first meeting, Shri Verma engaged with around 50 Resident Welfare Association (RWA) representatives from various communities. Joined by Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, IEML the discussion focused on increasing community participation in the trade show, an initiative showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s rich industrial and manufacturing capabilities. The RWA representatives assured their full support in promoting the trade show within their societies and communities. They also presented insightful suggestions on logistics, including traffic management, transportation, food arrangements, and community activities to ensure smooth and active participation during the event. These ideas are poised to play a crucial role in making the trade show a grand success.
In another meeting, Shri Verma held an inspiring discussion with representatives from around 60 media groups, including both electronic and print. This discussion aimed at promoting and publicizing UPITS 2024 across Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states. The media representatives offered invaluable suggestions on enhancing the event’s visibility and reach, expressing their commitment to actively participate in spreading awareness about this premier trade event. Their cooperation is set to amplify the reach of UPITS 2024, ensuring it garners attention not just locally but across wider regions.

Shri Manish Kumar Verma, IAS, urged both the media representatives and RWA members to extend their full-fledged support to ensure the UP International Trade Show (UPITS 2024) becomes a grand success. Emphasizing the significance of the event for Uttar Pradesh, Shri Verma highlighted that it is not just a trade show but a unique opportunity to showcase the state’s rich cultural heritage, craftsmanship, and industrial excellence on a global platform.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, IEML also called upon the media and communities to work collectively to maximize the event’s impact, making it a hallmark of pride and prosperity for the region.
