The School of Management Studies of ITS Engineering College organized an Expert talk “Business Strategy -Deploying” on 04th July 2024. Mr. Karanjeet Singh Uppal, Professor of Practice & Leadership Strategist was the resource person for this expert talk.
The expert talk started with an impressive introduction by resource person by the Ms. Akansha Jha, Student of MBA. Dr. Sunita Shukla, HoD welcomed the resource person with a sapling.
Mr. Karanjeet Singh Uppal, resource person took the stage after welcome session. He has started the session with an introduction of BSC (Balanced Scorecard). He introduced the four pillars of BSC: Finance, Customers, Internal Process and Learning& Growth to the students with examples. As per resource person, to success inany business we need to focus on all four pillars of BSC. Without these no business can be successful.
Mr. Karanjeet Singh Uppal also involved students in self-awareness activities by using BSC in personal life. Students were excited to participate in such type self-awareness activities. He also explained various case studies related to BSC like Tata SteelCompany and ITS. Mr. Karanjeet Singh Uppal explained in detail implementation process of BSC in detail. He Addressed variouschallenges faced by corporate while applying BSC.
At the end of session resource person asked students to fill the quiz. Students scored averagely 7 point out of 10. The expert talk was ended with vote of thanks presented by Dr. Anju Bala, Associate Professor.
