Greater Noida College of Law hosts Debate Competition on Constitution Day

Greater Noida College of Law celebrated Constitution Day on November 24, 2023, by hosting a thought-provoking Debate Competition on the topic “Is Live-in relationship a threat to marriage.” Students from B.A.LL.B, B.Com LL.B, and LL.B showcased their intellectual prowess as they engaged in a lively exchange of perspectives. The event, graced by the esteemed presence of the Chairman, Director General, Directors, Deans, HODs, and faculty members, was a platform for insightful discussions.

The competition, judged by a distinguished panel comprising Dr. Harender Nagar, Director of GNC; Dr. Pankaj Kumar, Director of GNIT College of Management; and Ms. Krishna Priya, Head of HR Department at GN Group, began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Adding a symbolic touch, a token of appreciation was presented to the chief guest, B. L. Gupta, Chairman of GN Group of Institutes, by Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Dean of GNCL.

During his address, Chairman B. L. Gupta motivated the students by reflecting on the historic significance of the making of the Indian Constitution, infusing the competition with a sense of purpose and inspiration. The participants exhibited great enthusiasm, making the event a resounding success.

The results of the competition were announced by Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Dr. Shalu Tyagi, and Dr. Ravindra Kurup, with the following winners:

  1. First Prize: Mahak Nazar, B.A. LL.B 5th Semester
  2. Second Prize: Vicky, B.A. LL.B 3rd Semester
  3. Third Prize: Manasvi, LL.B 1st Semester

All participants were recognized for their contribution with certificates of participation. The event concluded on a patriotic note with everyone joining in the singing of the National Anthem in the seminar hall. The meticulous coordination of the event was overseen by Pamini Kasera, and the collective effort of GNCL faculty members, including Dr. Anuradha Garg, Dr. Neelam Pandey, Divya Nandwani, Vikash Kumar, Pooja Singh, Simran, Varsha Punia, Arshi, Amisha, Yatender, and Suvigya, played a crucial role in its success.
