Greater Noida (23 August 2023): In an impressive display of talent and teamwork, RPS International School’s Under 11 Boys and Girls Roll Ball Skating teams clinched a remarkable 3rd place in the fiercely contested Gautam Buddha Nagar Roll Ball Sports Championship 2023.
The championship, which took place over the weekend on August 21st and 22nd, saw the young athletes from RPS International School shine on the skating rink. Some of these children will now be selected for the state level competitions too. The winning individuals had participated in the championship in which there were 28 teams and about 500 players.
The Under 11 Girls Team, highly motivated by their determination and skill, secured a well-deserved spot on the podium with a bronze medal. The members of this victorious squad included Richal, Aashavi, Drisna Dinesh, Aarya, Kanishka, and Aaradhya. Their exceptional skating prowess and unwavering commitment to the sport showcased their dedication and passion for roll ball skating.
Equally praiseworthy were the efforts of the Under 11 Boys Team, who exhibited remarkable agility and coordination throughout the championship. The team consisted of Nivaan, Rudransh, Viren, Ansh, Kartikeya, Virat, Naksh, Saksham, Aayushman, Ovish, and Yuvanah. Their outstanding performance on the rink highlighted their strong work ethic and camaraderie.
Principal of RPS International School, Jyoti Singh , beaming with pride, congratulated the students on their outstanding achievement and lauded their hard work, discipline, and perseverance. “Our students have once again showcased their commitment to excellence in sports. The success of our roll ball skating teams reflects not only their athletic prowess but also the spirit of sportsmanship that our school instills in them,” Principal Singh remarked.
