Religious leaders cannot remain as spectators to global crisis: Bhikkhu Sanghasena

Greater Noida (27/04/2023): 15th National Interfaith Summit, organized by Bhartiya SARVA Dharma Sansad on the 25th April 2023 in Fr Agnel School Greater Noida. Religious and spiritual Leaders of different communities participated in the Summit.

Bhikkhu Sanghasena, one of the members of the Sansad also participated. While addressing the large gathering said ‘the world is going through numerous challenges as brutal wars,climate change, global worming, environmental degradation, economic recession.

Religious leaders cannot remain as spectators, to crisis. He appealed to all the religious leaders to stand up and come together to work diligently and sincerely to promote peace, harmony and better understanding of oneness, philosophy of Vasudev Kutumbaka( the world is one family). He further added, even today the majority of human population are religious followers, therefore religious leaders can contribute a lot in promoting World Peace.”

All the spiritual leaders had discussion on the wide range of issues concerning the philosophy of Swamy Vivekanand ji and current affairs of world. The leaders appreciated, the leadership of Goswami Sushil ji Maharaj, national convener of Bhartiya Sarva Dharma Sansad, and the leaders felt that there should be a permanent head office of the Bhartiya Sarva Dharma Sansad.

Goswami Sushil ji Maharaj has offered his temple to be developed as the headquarter of the Bhartiya Sarva Dharma Sansad.

The faith leaders appreciated the great contribution of Goswami Sushil ji Maharaj towards promoting religious harmony.

In conclusion to the discussion, the leaders had decided to have a global interfaith conference in India, later this year.
