Greater Noida (15/08/2022): Ursuline Convent Senior Secondary School, Greater Noida, on Monday, celebrated 76th Independence Day with great fervour.
The Management, teachers, staff and students joyously participated in a march past, flag hoisting, and patriotic songs. The chief guests for the occasion were Mr & Mrs Wahi, the proud parents of Agrita Wahi, the Class XII topper for the session 2021-22.
A beautiful dance drama portraying the journey of India was performed jointly by the students from across all sections and was the highlight of the event.
The students from class 10th and 12th were felicitated for their academic performance and exemplary scholarly conduct. Achievement of marks in board exams in the 90th percentile was rewarded with certificates of appreciation, and trophies for the toppers, before their proud parents and the Principal.
The day was filled with cheers of ‘Vande Matram’ and saffron and white and green, as boys and girls went home carrying flags, certificates of merit and patriotic pride.
