Greater Noida : The election for the Governing body of Varisht Nagrik Samaj for the year 2018-19 and 2019-20 will be conducted on 25 March in Beta-II library for a number of posts including General Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer.
Nomination can be filled from 15 March 2018 with a charge of rupees 25 and scrutinized list of Nomination will be displayed on 17 March. Polling will be held on 25 March and results will be declared on the same day.
Two posts have been kept reserved including one for Delhi and member for these posts will be nominated in the general body meeting.
As per the criteria set by governing council only the life members will be eligible for contesting for the different posts and Executive Members and these members shall hold the new body post for only two financial years. No office bearer of any other social organization shall be eligible for the election of governing body. On the day of polling I-Card of Varisth Nagrik Samaj will be mandatory for all the voters.
