GL Bajaj Institute of Management &Research (GLBIMR) organised a Farewell Party – Hasta La Vista for 2016-18 PGDM Batch on January 31, at its Greater Noida Campus. The students of outgoing batch were overwhelmed by the gesture of their juniors. Dance, Music, Skits and a Grand Fashion Show were the main events of the party. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, on behalf of the GLBIMR team extended best wishes to the outgoing batch for their bright future and career. She highlighted that the institute belongs to students, as they are the most important stakeholders of the campus and as Alumni they will be the biggest strength of the campus.
Juniors presented an extravagant platter of breath-taking cultural performances to bid farewell to the seniors, Sakshi Bhadoria, Kshitij Mishra, Yashraj Singh, Vikas Singh, Chandan Jha , Nidhi Namdeo, Pulkit tyagi, Arun, Saurabh chauhan, Rahul Rout, etc charmed everyone with their amazing performances. Kanha & Shreyas Sharma dedicated their feelings in beautiful poetic forms. Fashion show by the seniors was the real show stopper of the event, where Simrat Abbot was chosen as Ms Farewell, while Abhay Kumar grabbed the title of Mr. Farewell, Deepesh Chhabra and Ruchi Mishra were chosen as Ramp King and Queen respectively. Mr & Ms Gorgeous titles were won by Saurabh Sharma and Sayeema Nishat.
Dr. Urvashi Makkar quoted that at GLBIMR, our impetus is on Skill Enhancement of students, making them Corporate Ready & ready for multiple roles. Further she shared that this celebration is multi-folded because of excellent placements of the outgoing batch in organizations like American Express, Barclays, E&Y, Decathlon, Jubilant Group, Vivo Mobiles, HDFC Bank etc. Everyone wished the outgoing batch for a successful career ahead. The joyful cultural event was followed by DJ and Lunch.
