We are a bunch of young enthusiastic volunteers (from schools/colleges/and early professionals), who meet every Sunday to collect food that is left over from restaurants (fresh/edible/healthy), and then head out to distribute this food to the children in slums in Greater Noida.
We currently feed 800-900 poor people each Sunday, with contributions from willing donators and food partners.
I am writing to you because We are organising an mass event whereby we shall be feeding 10,000 people on the 14th and 15th of August (Pakistan’s and India’s Independence Days), in greater noida, and was wondering whether you would like to spare some space in your publication for us? It would help us get the traction needed for the day in terms of food contributions and volunteer support.
