Greater Noida, 23 July 2024: The Ministry of Education Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE sponsored “Two Days Training cum Exposure Visit on Innovation & Entrepreneurship, 23-24July 2024” organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida, as Mentor Institute, commenced today with great anticipation and participation from esteemed Mentor and Mentee Institutes. The event aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among participants from the following mentee institutions:
- Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad
- Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions, Dadari
- Mangalmay Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida
- I.T.S. Dental College Hospital & Research Centre, Greater Noida
- I.T.S. College of Pharmacy, Muradnagar
The opening day began with inspiring welcome addresses by Dr. S.P. Mishra, Advisor at The ITS Education Group, and Dr. Mayank Garg, Director and President of IIC-ITSEC, who emphasized the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education institutions.
Dr. Ashish Kumar, HOD-CSE and Vice President of IIC-ITSEC, delivered an enlightening session on the role of ICT in startup and entrepreneurship, followed by Mr. Manveen Chadda, Senior Manager (Incubation) at FITT, IIT Delhi, who discussed startup services and policy mechanisms.
Dr. V.K. Arora, CEO of IGDTUW Anveshan Foundation, New Delhi, elaborated on pre-incubation and incubation facility creation, providing valuable insights into nurturing startup ventures.
The day concluded with an enlightening incubation exposure visit to Navrachna Foundation and NewGen IEDC, showcasing practical examples of successful incubation models.
Dr. Rajiv Ranjan, Convener of IIC-ITSEC, expressed gratitude in his vote of thanks, highlighting the collaborative efforts and enthusiastic participation from all stakeholders.
