GNIT, in collaboration with IIT Delhi, organizes workshop on virtual labs

On 7th May, Greater Noida Institute of Technology, in collaboration with IIT Delhi , organized a workshop on virtual labs. This initiative was part of the Ministry of Education’s National Mission on Education through ICT. The session was conducted by Chandan, a senior executive, along with his colleagues Ubaid Mustaq Nazario and Chandan Dey.

Dr. Parvinder Bangad, the college director, honored the dignitaries on behalf of the college. Virtual labs are an innovative platform that allows students to conduct laboratory experiments and practice their skills in a virtual environment. These labs provide a hands-on learning experience, enabling students to perform experiments that may not be feasible in a traditional lab setting due to cost, safety, or logistical constraints. They are a valuable tool for enhancing the practical knowledge and skills of students in various scientific and technical fields. Students learned how virtual labs can revolutionize experiments and practical skills, offering features like real-world simulations, remote access, and a wide range of equipment. They understood the advantages: cost-effectiveness, safety, and enhanced learning. The session equipped them with the knowledge of how virtual labs can prepare them for future challenges.
