The two day annual fest of I.T.S Engineering College Greater Noida, UDGHOSH- 2017 was inaugurated at college premises on 9.3.2017 commemorating the enthusiasm and creativity of the students. The program provides a vibrant platform for students to showcase their creativity, excellence and talent though cultural,literary and sports events. The chief guest of the occasion was Prof. D.S. Chauhan,
the founder Vice Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow. In his welcome speech, Director of the Institute, Dr. Vineet Kansal highlighted the theme of the event and conveyed his thanks to the chief guest for being a part of the event. The chief guest emphasizes the importance of the event in terms of inculcating the social values among the students in true spirit. The ceremony was
marked by the presence of Dr. R.P.Chadha, Chairman, I.T.S-The Education Group, Mr. B.K.Arora- Secretary- I.T.S –The Education Group, Dr. Gagan Deep Arora, Dean Academic Administration, Dr.Sanjay Yadav, Dean Students Welfare and Head of various Departments along with faculty and staff members. The grand fest kick started with a brief introduction about the objective of organizing the annual fest. The spirit and competitiveness of the festival was symbolically spread by igniting cresset. After this the dignitaries on the dais were invited for lighting the cauldron accompanied by the release of balloons in air symbolizing unwanted emotions being cast away. This was followed by march- past in which large number of students participated showcasing youthful fervor and dynamism.The march- past was followed by the oath taking ceremony where the captains and vice-captains of different houses took the pledge to strive and endure for the upliftment of the institution and to stand undaunted during adverse times.Thereafter the day unfolded with excellent performance by the very own Dramatics Club of college-Ehsaas theatre group. They presented a street play spreading awareness about the adverse effect of sensational news created by paid media.After the Cultural events the Finals of Tug of war (Girls) and 100 m Sprint (Boys &Girls) were held to reveal the athletic talent of students. The program was concluded with vote of thanks by students coordinator of the event.
