Tuesday, 03rd October 2023, School of Management Studies, MBA Department, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida under the aegis of ITS- The Education Group organized their Orientation Program- Aaghaz to welcome the first-year students of MBA Batch 2023- 2025 with enthusiasm. The program was filled with a number of freshers who are ecstatic to begin the new phase of their campus life.
After the freshers were welcomed and settled, the program was commemorated with Lamp lighting before Ma Saraswati-The Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom by our eminent guest speakers and head members of ITS Family. This set a positive aura throughout the hall, followed by a warm welcome address and a brief introduction about ITS- The Education Group and MBA by Dr. Mayank Garg, Director, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida. He spoke about the significance of technological-driven education, and how students can make technology- a weapon for gaining more knowledge. The students were then addressed by a distinguished guest, Sudarshan Bose, Director at Deloitte South Asia Consulting, who delivered a motivational speech to the first year MBA students who are going to begin with their journey as future managers. He elucidated the importance of management principles to be followed by the students to build the career path. The session was proceeded and handed over to keynote speaker Vivek Gupta, who gave extended lecture on career prospects and challenges. It was an interactive session, and provided students with valuable insights. The session was then handed over to Dr. Sunita Shukla who extended her vote of thanks to the entire team and management for smooth conduct of the program.
After a delightful refreshment, Sana Vakeel carried her Ice breaking session, which provided students with space and liberty to know each other through some fun activity. Lastly, the first day of the orientation was concluded by Shalu Tyagi, where she provided informative session on knowing the role and responsibilities of Mentor assigned to a particular batch. The session turned out to be interactive as students raised queries related to career path and correct counselling for their career. Needless to say, the students seized up this enlightened opportunity with open arms.
