Workshop on successful image building held at ITS Engineering College

The Department of Applied Science & Humanities, under the aegis of I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida, organized its 18th Orientation Program for B. Tech first year students with great vim and vigor. The second day of the orientation program started with the much needed energy and enthusiasm by Mr. Surya Narayan Bahadur – Chief Happiness Officer, Advanced Training and Development Consultant, New Delhi. He conducted 8 hours long workshop on one of the most dominant themes of engineering life – successful image building for the newly admitted students. The venue chosen for the premium event was Sardar Patel Auditorium that witnessed a huge footfall of freshers and faculty members who were seemingly prepared to participate in the workshop.

The workshop started with one of his signature styles – NASA clapping technique to set the boisterous tone in the auditorium. The highly jovial spokesperson of the event – Mr. Surya shared with his audience numerous non-preachy tricks and tips to live a happy life while pursuing engineering program. He also made everybody do meditation while sitting in the auditorium so that the neurotransmitters in the brain can be activated that would further help the students and faculty members alike in maintaining their desired level of energy throughout the session.

The post-lunch session was as exciting and interesting as the pre-lunch activities. Mr. Surya introduced a few engaging games like draw a duck, bingo game, fish stick, loop the hoop, karaoke dhun besides a few more to his audience to make them participate wholeheartedly as a team. The workshop was wrapped up by singing the national anthem, sharing constructive feedbacks and, most importantly, clicking a group photograph for preserving the good memories of  the 18th B. Tech orientation program.

Overall, the second day of the orientation program proved to be highly effective as well as entertaining to the students.
