GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research (, Greater Noida organized memorable Farewell Party – “Hasta La Vista” 2019 for PGDM Batch 2017-19 on January 11, 2019 at its Greater Noida Campus. The students of outgoing batch were overwhelmed with emotions and memories of Institute life. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, on behalf of the GLBIMR team extended best wishes and blessings to the outgoing batch for their bright future and career ahead.
Junior students showcased their skills very effectively in cultural activities to bid farewell to their seniors. Dance, Music, Skits and a Grand Fashion Show were the main events of the party. Anant Mishra, Archita, Abdulla Nizam, Asim Prakash, Jyoti Sharma, Rajat Pandey, Sakshi Singh, Palak Malhotra, Shivam Goyal, Shatabdi Ghosh etc charmed everyone with their amazing performances. Jyoti Sharma & Anant Mishra dedicated their feelings by beautiful songs.
Dr. Urvashi Makkar quoted that at GLBIMR, our impetus is on Skill Enhancement of students, making them Corporate Ready & ready for multiple roles. Further she shared that this celebration is multi-folded because of excellent placements of the outgoing batch in organizations like American Express, IBM India Pvt Ltd., Panasonic India, HDFC Bank Limited, Jaro Education,BATA India, Audi, Byju’s etc.
If Juniors were flamboyant in their amazing performances, seniors were no less; Akash was adjudged Mr Farewell while Varsha Menon bagged Ms Farewell title.Mr handsome crown went to Ashish and Ms gorgeous was Aayushi .Gopal got tagged ‘ I care ‘.Shivani Singh was selected for ‘Perfect smile’.And lastly,Hira Khan and Divyanshu Porwal were crowned Ms Popular and Mr Popular respectively.
Everyone wished the outgoing batch for a successful career ahead. The joyful cultural event was followed by DJ and Lunch.
