I.T.S Engineering college has organized two days sports tournament in which foot ball and chess games were played. There were 15 colleges had participated in the tournament. The inauguration was done by Shri Agha A. Husain, (Covener, I.T.S Engineering College). The First match was played between Army Institute of Management and Technology and G.N.I.O.T, Greater Noida. During the first day all the qualifying matches were played. Next day the final match was played between I.T.S Engineering College & their alumni’s.
I.T.S ALUMNI (Pass-out Batch) pushed themselves into the finals against the current home team of I.T.S Engineering and won the title by 1-0. The winning goal was done by Mayank Choudhary. This is the first time when I.T.S alumni’s has participated in any tournament and won the title.On the other side some good players from other institutes had played very well. There were 40 players who had participated from different institute. There were five rounds for each participant. The final was played between G.L. Bajaj and I.T.S Engineering College. Gaurav Sinha of I.T.S Engineering College,won by 13 points against Ayush Ruhela from G.L. Bajaj.
