The School of Management Studies organized a Staff Development Programme (SDP) session for all the staff members of I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida, on Saturday, August 12, 2023. It was a one day session on “Professionalism, Enthusiasm and Attitude’’ by Dr. A. K Misra. The session was moderated by Prof. Pratik Dwivedi followed by welcome address. Introduction of the resource person was presented by Prof. Shalu Tyagi. Lastly vote of thanks for organizers, and the participants by Prof. Pratik Dwivedi for making the event a grand success.
Professor & Head of SOMS, Dr. A. K. Misra graced the session with his presence and valuable session. Prof. Misra emphasized on the importance of Enthusiasm is that it helps oneself to Prioritize, Focused, Inspires Others (Image building – Reflects a Positive Attitude). A professional attitude and appearance in the workplace allows employees to take pride in their work and improve their performance. Managers who conduct themselves in a professional manner set an appropriate example by encouraging their employees to conduct themselves in a way that promotes company-wide success. Professionalism is a measure of how well oneself carry his/her self at work, treating coworkers and how to handle stressful situations. Dedication, integrity and responsibility are elements of professionalism that make a person successful in her field.
