Greater Noida (25/03/2023): Bharatanatyam dance-drama presentation by the talented artists of Thyagaraja Centre for Music and Dance. The event took place at Uthara Sivagiri Sree Narayana Gurudev Kshetram.
The disciples of Guru. Shri. R.V. Thyagarajan wonderfully showcased “Narasimha Avatara- dance drama,” which depicts the story of Lord Vishnu’s fourth avatar.
The dance drama tells the tale of the demon Hiranyakashipu’s tyranny over the world and his attempts to destroy Lord Vishnu’s devotee, Prahlada. The climax of the story is the appearance of Lord Vishnu as Narasimha, a half-man, half-lion creature who defeats Hiranyakashipu and saves Prahlada from his clutches.
Through the medium of Bharatanatyam dance, the performers brought to life the powerful and emotional story of Narasimha Avatara.
Music lovers and devotees experienced the beauty and grace of Indian classical dance while immersing themselves in a timeless tale of good versus evil.
Cultural Ambassadors Guru RV Thyagarajan and Guru Maa Rajeswary Thyagarajan conceived and directed the Drama .
On this occasion President and the Management Committee of Uthara Sivagiri Sree Narayana Gurudev Kshetram , Alpha 2 , Greater NOIDA ; Goswamy Sushil ji Maharaj , convener , Sarva Dharma Sansad ; Gajanan Mali , Founder , TEN NEWS NETWORK ; social workers Ms Laxmi Ambadipudi ,Sajindran , Aditya Ghildyal amongst others also sought the blessings of Gurudev ji and enjoyed the drama
