Gzb. Little Leaders – initiated by IIT – IIM Alumni and one of the best play school in Delhi – NCR celebrated their Annual sports extravaganza, Athletic Meet 2016 -17 at the ground near school premises. Little ones from the school participated in each activity and with lots of enthusiasm and showcased their physical strength. The kids were at their co-ordination best during the march past. The other interesting activities that were conducted includes, Aerobics, Karate, Yoga etc.
These were followed by the track events such as races by Pre Nursery, Nursery and Prep classes separately.Talking about the sports meet, Ms. Anu Gupta, Director, Little Leaders Play School said, “We all look forward to this activity every year. Since the training and till the final day, each participant enjoys every bit of it. It is so heartening to see these little ones to grow when they enter the school premises on day one when they are hesitant to speak to anybody and by the end of this day, they are so well co-ordinated with their entire class.”Dignitaries that graced our event includes, the chief guest of the event Mr. Harpreet Singh,
Director –Sports, Special Olympics Bharat and Hon’ble principal of SKS World School, Ms. Indu Sharma. Not only the students participated and enjoyed but also the parents. They not only hooted and encouraged their little ones but also participated in the races for them too for eg: Couple Race,
Cat Walk. Ms. Anu Gupta lauded the performances of the little ones and stated that it was so perfect that everybody could gauge the pains and efforts taken by teachers and students for such flawless presentation. She congratulated the entire team and the parents for their co-operation in making the event a success.
Name of the winners of the races and other activities are: Ojasvi, Shreshth, Kiaan, Shourya chaudhary, Naina, Yashvi. Almost 150 kids participated in different activities which began from 11:00 am and continued till 1:00 pm.
