The Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida is organizing an AICTE-ATAL Sponsored Professional Development Programme (PDP) in association with HAC-IEEE UP section on “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN CONTEMPORARY BIOMEDICAL & HEALTHCARE APPLICATIONS: Advancements & Post Covid Analysis”.
The aim of this PDP is to provide exposure to the faculty members, researchers, practicing engineers, medical professionals and other students in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Contemporary Biomedical; Healthcare Applications: Fundamentals; Hands on MATLAB. This PDP will provide a futuristic overview of Biomedical; health care concepts, technologies and emerging trends in post Covid-19 scenario. The FDP is mainly focused to highlight the issues in the health care and to capitalize ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN BIOMEDICAL & HEALTHCARE APPLICATIONS: ADVANCEMENTS & POST COVID ANALYSIS.
The Programme started with Vandana followed by the welcome address by Dr. Kirti Pal, Dean (I/C), SOE and about the Programme by Dr. M. A. Ansari, FDP Coordinator, Inaugural Speech by Prof. R. K. Sinha, Vice Chancellor, GBU Gr.Noida and Prof. Moin Uddin Chief Guest, distinguished Prof. & Former PVC DTU & Director NIT Jalandhar.
More than 200 participants across the country around 24 states are participating in this FDP & more 20 speakers from IITs, NITs, central, state universities, research centers and the industry are going to deliver their lectures in this one week FDP From February 21-25, 2022 at Gautam Buddha University.
The Overall programme was coordinated by Dr. M. A. Ansari, Coordinator of the FDP and hosted by Ms. Pratiksha Gupta and Ms. Pragati Tripathi. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Nidhi Singh Pal, Head, EED, GBU Gr. Noida followed by National Anthem. The inauguration of PDP was conducted in the online mode.
