Greater Noida (14/02/2022): The Foundation course for the new batch of MBBS students started at GIMS on 14th Feb. 2022. The inauguration of the session was held in the Academic Block of GIMS. The program started with lamp lighting by the Director (Brig.) Rakesh Gupta, Dean Dr Rambha Pathak, CMS Dr Saurabh Srivastava and Heads of all departments. Welcome address was delivered by the Director, wherein he welcomed the students and congratulated them for choosing GIMS for the course. Dr Rambha Pathak oriented the students to MBBS curriculum. This was followed by a talk by the CMS on Goals and Roles of the Indian Medical Graduate. Later all the faculty of pre-clinical subjects – Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry introduced themselves and interacted with the students. The wardens of boys and girls hostel also explained the rules and regulations of the hostel to the students.
Regular sessions on skills and lectures of the foundation course will begin in the afternoon today.
