GREATER NOIDA (26/01/2022) : 26th January 2022 marks the 73rd Republic Day of India. The Government Institute of Medical Sciences commemorated the day with fun filled activities in the presence of the Director, faculty, staff and students of GIMS. The celebration began with flag hoisting by the Director, Dr. (Brig.) Rakesh Gupta, generating a sense of pride amongst the attendees. He later addressed the gathering, wherein he emphasized on the importance of this day. He also appreciated the efforts of the medical fraternity at GIMS in combating the pandemic and focused on the achievements of GIMS during the pandemic times. He ended his speech with roars of Jai Hind. This was followed by patriotic cultural presentations by the students and staff of GIMS. The festivity ended with sweet distribution to all.
