Senior journalist Shesh Narain Singh succumbed to Covid-19 on Friday. He was undergoing treatment for the disease at GIMS Greater Noida.
Paying tributes to the departing soul, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he would be remembered for his significant contribution to the journalism world.
“The demise of senior journalist Sesha Narayan Singh ji is very sad. He will always be known for his significant contribution to the journalism world. My condolences to his family in this hour of grief. Om Shanti!” PM Modi tweeted.
“Senior Journalist Rajdeep Sardesai wrote, “More sad news: senior journalist @sheshji passed away this morning of Covid 19. Prayers for his family. We have lost far too many journalist friends in this summer of grief. RIP Sheshji.”
Nodal Officer for Noida Airport, Shailendra Bhatia, wrote, “Senior journalist Mr. Seshanarayan Singh is no more. Today we lost a simple and clean journalist.”
