Delhi Public School, Greater Noida emerged as a winner for the prestigious National Level Paryavaran Mitra Program, an inititative of the Centre for Environment and Education, Govt. of India.

Paryavaran Mitra is a nationwide initiative by the Centre of Environment Education (CEE) to create a network of young leaders from schools across the country, with awareness, knowledge, commitment and potential to meet the challenges of environmental sustainability in their own spheres of influence.

Under the able guidance of Ms. Sandhya Awasthi, Principal DPS Greater Noida and supervision of Ms. Poonam Dua, HOD Biology faculty, a team of five students, Arya Singh, Rohan Arora, Nivedita Mishra students submitted extensive research and activity-based project on the theme “Sustainability and Waste”. The activities were highly appreciated by the respected jury members.

The school will always be encouraging green environment-friendly practices to sensitise every individual about the environment conservation.
