Grand Inauguration of “Dr. Abdul Kalam Arts and Cultural Fest” at ITS Engineering College

Under the aegis of Dr. A. P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, ITS Engineering College hosted a two day ‘Dr. Abdul Kalam Arts and Cultural Fest’ on 7-8 February 2020. On 7 Feb, the fest was inaugurated by honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Sohil Chaddha by lamp lightning ceremony. Furthermore, Dr. Vikas Singh, Executive director, highlighted the need and importance of cultural activities in the academics. Students from various colleges of Gautam Buddha Nagar have participated in the fest.

On the first day of the fest, students from various institutes have participated in different competitions including “Art from Waste”, “Collage Making”, “T-Shirt Painting”, “Face Painting”, “Mehandi Art”, “Rangoli”, “Poster Art” etc. Students have showcased their esteemed talent and willingness which reflected their potential in such activities. On the second part, incredible performance of students in other events such as “Nukkad Natak”, “Solo Singinig”, “Group Singing” , “Musical Bands” have mesmerized the audience and build splendid atmosphere with full of energy and enthusiasm.

The event coordinator Dr. Deepa Singh emphasized the usefulness and vulnerability of cultural activities for students. In addition, co-coordinator Mr. Rohan Shrivastava warmly welcomed and greeted all students from outside colleges for their kind participation. Moreover, Dr. Sanjay Yadav, Dean student affairs and Dr. Gagandeep Arora , Dean acadmic affairs have given their esteemed cooperation for successful completion of the event.
