The students of Ryan International School, Greater Noida celebrated the National Unity Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great Indian leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31st October 2019.
Essay writing competition, unity pledge and Run for Unity was organised on this day in which the students participated with enthusiasm, zeal and gaiety. The teachers of the Primary wing delivered a lecture on the life, achievements and contribution of Sardar Patel in India’s journey of freedom. The students of all the classes wrote an essay on the topic – ‘Sardar Patel – The Unifier of India’, ‘The Iron Man of India’, ‘Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and National Integration’.
The students of class IX to XI came together for the Unity Pledge and the students of classes VII & VIII participated in the Run for Unity. These activities helped in inculcating the spirit of unity and brotherhood amongst the students. Everyone came together and experienced the feeling of belongingness and togetherness. The school head appreciated and applauded the effort put in by all the students.
