Ryan International School, Greater Noida has taken imitative JAL SHAKTI ABHIYAN, an initiative by our respectable Prime Minister Sh. Narender Modi to save water in every one’ daily life as each drop is valuable.
A special assembly was conducted where primary students were briefed on how to save water in their day to day life style and ensuring that in school and at home they should not leave the taps open and take care of the same in their societies as well. . They were also made aware about the five aspects of The ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan’ — water conservation and rainwater harvesting, renovation of traditional and other water bodies, reuse of water and recharging of structures, watershed development, and intensive afforestation.
Students were also sensitized about adopting means of reusing water under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan launched by the district administration. Students made posters on measures that can be adopted by all to save water.They showcased their creativity and awareness about the current issues which our country is facing.The students through posters sent out a message that saving water is the need of the hour for a better future.
The principal appreciated the enthusiasm and interest taken by the students for such a good cause.
