We, at DPS Greater Noida, have invariably laid great emphasis on the paramount significance of forging new bonds and expanding our boundaries. The objective of the Indo-German Exchange Programme, is to open doors to a new world which the students may find unfamiliar; yet exotic and exhilarating for the students and teachers who visited Katharinen Gymnasium, Germany from June 22 to July 6, 2019.
The trips included visit to the strawberry fields, Nürnberg, Munich, Kelheim, Altmühl, Dachau (the concentration camp) and Chiemsee, which is a vast lake of cerulean beauty and also the Audi factory. Here they saw the castle of Schloss Herrenchiemsee and saw how the royals lived in the past.
In the end, students jived to Indian beats and the air rippled with exuberance and unwavering happiness. It was a bittersweet culmination to an experience of a lifetime.
