Under the erudite leadership of the Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research organized Workshop on “Summer Internship to Preplacement Offer” (SIPO), on Monday, March 19, 2018 for PGDM 2018-20 Batch, conducted by Winning Mantra, a leading training and mentoring academy with more than 13 years of experience of building bridges between the worlds of academia and industry.
The eminent Industry Experts conducting the workshop were Pramod Joshi, Founder & Partner, Winning Mantra, Mr. Sudhanshu Hajela, Director, Winning Mantra, Kunal Sharma, Communication Skills trainer with national and international clients and Asim Thakurta, Veteran of the Power Industry, worked in techno-managerial roles for NTPC, Fluor Corp, Tata Power. This program was an effort for orienting the students towards making an assertive impact during the Summer Internship, utilizing their fundamental knowledge and management skills to get a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO).
While welcoming the Industry Experts during the inaugural session, Dr. Makkar addressed the students of PGDM Batch 2018-20 stating that the upcoming Summer Internship will be a game-changer for each placement aspirant in the campus. Continuing the legacy of the alumnus of GLBIMR, the students were encouraged to outperform themselves and earn Appreciation Letters from the organizations they are interning with.
