Today Bimtech University in association with Tennews organized a brain storming session on the need for Municipal Corporation/ Nagar Palika in Noida and Greater Noida. As one of the speakers, I presented my case for Nagar Palika stressing on the urgent need for civic maintenance and effective city administration as in the very near future with Metro and Jewar airport the city’s basic amenities such as hygiene, sanitation, drains, ground water supply, roads, horticulture, environment are going to come under severe stress and GNIDA needs a supporting organisation/ body to dispense all civic related functions with accountability built into it. Present at the seminar, among eminent academics, policymakers and active members of Noida and Greater Noida civil society, were DM Shri B N Singh, Prof K K Pandey, Deputy Commissioner of Thane (Maharashtra) Shri Omprakash Divate, former Commissioner Meerut Shri Shravan Kumar Sharma ji, Noida MLA Shri Pankaj Singh, Director, Bimtech Dr H. Chaturvedi and founder Tennews Shri Gajanan Mali.
