GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR), Greater Noida celebrated its 12th Foundation Day and “Neev”- Teachers’ Day on September 5, 2018 with ebullience. The day was marked by an auspicious “Hawan” Ceremony in the campus in the august presence of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, along with the students, faculty & staff members. GLBIMR was established in the year 2007 under the leadership of Chairman Shri Ram Kishore Agarwal Ji and has thereupon embarked on a journey of imparting quality education to thousands of students and budding professionals, under the remarkable leadership of Edupreneurist, Vice Chairman, Mr. Pankaj Agarwal.
Highlighting the success of GLBIMR, Dr. Makkar shared the significance of Foundation Day of the Institute coinciding with the nationwide celebration of self-less dedication of the educators & mentors on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. In continuation of the celebrations, the spirit of Teacher’s Day was marked by spectacular activities presented by GLBIMR-ians. To mark the commencement, ceremonial lamp lighting was done by Dr. Urvashi Makkar along with faculty members & students. She acknowledged the students for their efforts in organizing such an amazing celebration and affirmed that teaching is not just a profession, but a responsibility to guide the youth and shape the Nation; she encouraged the faculty members to deliver academic quality and excellence in offering world-class Management Education to their students. The celebrations concluded with a pledge by the students to put in their best efforts throughout their academic pursuit as a mark of honor towards their teachers.
