Greater Noida Mun 2018
With an aim to develop important social skills such as public speaking, critical thinking and conflict resolution in students, we are planning to organise a MUN (Model United Nation) in Greater Noida. The conference dates are 19th and 20th May 2018.
MUN is an educational simulation or an academic activity in which student can learn about diplomacy, international relations, global issues, and the United Nations. Students participate as delegate of a particular country/state and discuss about major global issues representing their particular country.
We are welcoming about 200-300 delegates, experienced as well as beginners, from Greater Noida, Noida, Delhi, Jaipur, Ghaziabad and other nearby cities.
There are four committees in this MUN.The committee and their agendas are as follows-
1. INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE
AGENDA- CASE REPORTS
2. THE MOUNT BATTEN FORUM
AGENDA- THE GREAT DIVIDE: INDIA (partition)
3. UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY (Disarmament and international Security)
AGENDA- PROLIFERATION OF SMALL ARMS AND LIGHT WEAPONRY IN CONFLICTED AREAS.
4. UNITED NATIONS HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL
AGENDA- RIGHT TO PRIVACY: A fundamental right in the digital age.
We organise MUN to develop students’ personality and self-confidence. We are looking for an apt venue to organise this two-day conference. We would be extremely thankful if you could provide us your school as venue for this conference. We assure you to teach everything about MUN to your school students and give a fruitful experience to the students.
