A day after the complete law and order failure was witnessed in many parts of Gautam Buddha Nagar district when district police administration failed to effectively control the protest erupted over release of Padmavat.
The movie is slated to release on 25th January, however many organization protested against the same yesterday. The protests which begin at Grand Venice Mall, Greater Noida later spread on Noida- Greater Noida expressway and DND toll plaza. The visuals of the incident portray a gruesome site where hooliganism seems to be on full display.
After facing a serious backlash and people questioning the policing in the district, GB Nagar administration today filled cases against 40 named and 800 unidentified miscreants. Different cases under relevant sections have been filled at Surajpur, Kasana and Dadri police stations!
