The way for acquiring the land for Jewar Airport is cleared as state government had approved 300 core for the project . The decision is taken in a meeting of state cabinet held on Monday. Now after getting the grant work of land acquisition for Airport soon will be started soon. This is the first time that Airport is getting any grant.
Draft For acquiring 1200 hectare of land is already been sent to the government in November. For now work of acquisition is not been started because 10% of compensation amount out of total amount is not been submitted yet . In first phase 1200 hectare of land from 8 villages will be acquired and for this 3000 core will be required. This amount is gathered through lone and for this Authority had started meeting with NCR planning board but the last decision on this will be taken by government.
For preparing technical economic feasibility report for Airport. Agency selection process is going on for this and tenders can be filled till 8 December and will be open on 12 December.
