On June 6, 2024, the Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) Department of I.T.S. Engineering College, Greater Noida, hosted a memorable farewell event, “Despedida-2K24,” for its 2020-24 engineering graduates. Organized by the third-year ECE students under the Envision Club, the event aimed to honor and bid farewell to their seniors.
The event took place in the Naidu Hall and commenced at 12:00 p.m. with an inauguration by Dr. A. Ambika Pathy, Head of the ECE Department. The program featured a variety of cultural performances, including singing, dancing, a ramp walk, and a talent show, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
Anchors warmly welcomed faculty members and graduating seniors, setting a tone of appreciation and celebration. The faculty coordinators for the event were Ms. Pragati Tripathi and Mr. Prabhakar Sharma, while student coordinators included Riya Choudhary, Urvesh Saifi, Adarsh Kumar, and the entire third-year ECE students.
A highlight of the evening was the selection of Mr. and Ms. Farewell, based on various criteria. The titles were awarded to Mr. Abhishek Yadav and Ms. Kashish Solan, respectively.
Special thanks were extended to Director Dr. Mayank Garg and HOD Dr. Monika Jain for their comprehensive support and coordination. Appreciation was also expressed to the IT and admin departments for their invaluable assistance.
