ITS Engineering College organizes Entrepreneurship Awareness Program in collaboration with MSME Ministry

Greater Noida, Wednesday, 10 July, 2024: The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of ITS Engineering College, in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, and the MSME-Development & Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO), Okhla, New Delhi, organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) on July 10, 2024.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Mayank Garg, Director of ITS Engineering College and President of IIC-ITSEC. The inaugural address on entrepreneurship promotion was delivered by Dr. R.K. Bharti, Joint Director & HOO, MSME-DFO, New Delhi.

Sh. D.S. Tomer, Assistant Director, MSME-DFO, New Delhi, provided insights into the activities and schemes available for the promotion of MSMEs. This was followed by a session on innovation and startups towards the establishment of MSMEs by Dr. Amit Sehgal, Director of Launch Pad at Sharda University.

Rohit Sharma, Senior Manager at State Bank of India, elaborated on various banking schemes designed to support MSMEs. Dr. Rajiv Ranjan, Convener of IIC-ITSEC, discussed essential entrepreneurship skills.

A highlight of the event was a motivational session featuring the experience sharing by Sh. Vivek Kumar Singh, Founder of M/S VS Energy Harmonization & Automation Pvt. Ltd, Gr Noida, who provided valuable insights from his entrepreneurial journey.

The program aimed to inspire and equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the necessary knowledge and skills to establish and grow their businesses, thereby contributing to the economic development of the nation.
