Greater Noida Institute of Technology organizes Industrial visit to Network Bulls Pvt Ltd

Greater Noida Institute of Technology organized a one day Industrial visit to Network Bulls Private Limited on 11th March, 2024 for B.Tech(CSE) Engineering 3rd Year Students. The visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of Chairman B.L Gupta.

Learning at Network Bulls

Students were so excited that all of them reached the company much earlier than the scheduled time. Visit started at sharp 10: 00 A.M. Students were given a warm welcome by the authorities. Students were given a theory session by Mr. Sandeep Singh, Technical Trainer at Network bulls. It started with the introduction of basic networking concepts, advantages of certifications Gradually topics like OSI layer; TCP – IP were taught. Routers, IPv4 and IPv6 were explained with real life examples. In the last advantage and need of having practical skills were told to the students. Theory session ends at 12.00 p.m.

After lunch break all the students re-assembled in CCNA Lab at Second floor equipped with real devices like switches Cisco routers and other networking devices. Students were given hands-on experience on the CISCO Packet Tracer Tool. Students were given a live demonstration of CISCO networking and routing switching technologies along with IP addressing schemes. In the last students were given exposure to the CCIE data center. Students came to know about the requirements of the data centers, inter operation of different components of Data center. The visit ends with a vote of thanks given by Ms. Tannu Vats to the entire staff of the Network Bulls.

A group of 52 students of 3rd year B.Tech.(CSE/IT) participated in this industrial visit. The purpose of this visit was to acquaint students with Real Time Networking concepts like OSI layer, IP addressing and MAC addressing.

Mr. Nikhil Sharma, Assistant Professor and Ms. Tannu Vats, Dean were the main coordinator of an industrial visit. The trip was indeed very informative and enlightening for the students.
