Greater Noida – Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has slapped the final notice to Jaypee Infratech regarding the non-payment of 892 crores of rupess and asked them to respond by April 15.
“We have given them final notice regarding the non-payment of 892crores of rupess and their reply time is 15th of April”, said Dr. Arun Veer Singh CEO Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.
It has been reported that the developer has been defaulting from many years and land which is in question was allotted to the developer in three pockets, including sector 25 and Jaypee sport city of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. Due to default payments by the company, other allottees are suffering and the development work has not been started. The company is not paying the premium which the authority has been asking and the authority will take necessary action against them.
The matter is also sub-judice and we are waiting for court to appoint the arbitrator. “Meanwhile seven other companies are under radar and their comply time is April 15”, said CEO Mr.Singh
