Women leadership summit by SheWings honours India’s changemakers.

Greater NOIDA (26/12/2022): Top women CEOs, policy makers, educationalist and medical expert were a part of women leadership summit organised by Shewings.

 

Ananandiben Patel, honourable governor, Uttar Pradesh, who addressed the summit virtually appreciated the hard work and noble cause behind the foundation of SheWings and wished luck for its future endeavours. She also highlighted how SheWings has been working and promises to work for the development of women in this country. She also gave a message to the women changemakers over this country to help the women from the marginalized sections and to empower them.

 

Interestingly Dr Kiran Bedi, former Lieutenant Governor Puducherry had a one-to-one interaction with all the changemakers, congratulated and spoke about how important financial independence is for a woman and believes a women can only be empowered when she is financially independent. She also urged all the awardees including civil servants to empower women through means of education.

 

Padmashri awardee, Dr. Deepa Malik, who was a special guest in the summit stated how women and health go hand in hand. She concluded by saying women can only succeed when she is having a good health.

 

SheWings founder Madan Mohit Bhardwaj, proudly stated that a women cannot be empowered until she is finally independent. Over the last decade SheWings has been reaching out to 30 million marginalised women across the country and taking care of their personal health.

 

The entire summit appreciated and applauded Medha Roopam, IAS, collector Hapur, Dr Sharda Sharma, from SDRR Medical College, Dr. Shobha Tomar founder and VC NIMS University, TV Journalist Rakshita Misra, Pooja Gupta, VP Marketing INX Network, Swati Sharma entrepreneur and Rupamanjari Ghosh, ex VC Shiv Nadar University. Dr Bhimraya Metri, Director IIM Nagpur was honoured for his contribution for empowering women through education.

 

Sarad Upadhaya, GM, Crowne Plaza, Greater Noida and all the distinguished guests advocated for women empowered in hospitality sector too. The idea of supporting this entire event was SheWings’s mission in improving women’s health and lifestyle. A vote of thanks was given by chief planning officer Shubhendra Singh.
