GLBIMR organized a one-day workshop on “Management Education & Employability: Opportunities & Challenges on December 17, 2016, in its Greater Noida campus. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR shared that the Chief Guest of the event was Mr Pramod joshi ,Founder & Director, Winning Mantra and the expert resource Mr. Debashish Das, HR Specialist, Manufacturing & IT Telecom, Mr. Romy Juneja, Entrepreneur, Strategist & Mentor and Mr. Harmeet Singh, Head Operations & Service Excellence,GMR Group. Dr Makkar also shared that all the participants received certificate of participation on the conclusion of the program. The workshop witnessed participation of more than 400 students from various institutes and universities from all over India.The expert speakers of the event discussed about the depth of competition in global scenario and the expectations of the corporate world from budding managers. They also shared about the employability skills required from a management aspirant like communication skills, team work skills, problem solving skills, initiative and enterprise skills, self-management skills and time management skills.
