The Entrepreneurship Cell of Galgotias University organized an event titled as “LinkedIn Decode”. The objective event was to make students aware about the importance of having a good LinkedIn profile. MrSiddharth Shrivastava; a final year BBA student of Galgotias University conducted the session. Siddharth has done more than 15 internships in various for profit & not-for-profit organizations. To get all this internship, he has used the LinkedIn platform by making good connections & optimizing his profile to attract recruiters.
Siddharth informed all participants that the LinkedIn profile is the first impression of your professional network and it should not be like a social media profile. LinkedIn is purely a networking platform for professionals. The LinkedIn Profile must have a professional photo and not a candid picture. Through a well made presentation, he highlighted every detail which makes a great LinkedIn profile. Event received good feedback from the participants.
