Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu by all Indians is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of non-violence that led to India to its glorious freedom.
2 October every year is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti. The story of his life has impacted humanity to its core.
To revere this day, the Students of Ryan International School, Greater Noida held a Virtual Celebrations to commemorate the Mahatma’s life and teachings on 1st October 2020. Students displayed their creativity through clay models of objects used by Mahatma Gandhi. The students displayed their artistic side through sketches of Mahatma Gandhi. Some students dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi and showcased their oratory skills and spoke for a minute about the ideals portrayed by them. Students also took part in a quiz based on Gandhiji’s life and they were taken on a virtual tour of Sabarmati Ashram . Students also took a pledge for Eldercare. They also participated in an online National Quiz on Gandhiji organized by APJ Abdul Kalam Technology University and Bombay Sarvodaya Mandal.The students paid homage to the father of the nation through various activities.
