My dear Greater Noida residents, GNIDA and ITC Ltd are coming together to ensure home delivery to save people from going out.
1. We have decided to start announcement through Loudspeakers – By tomorrow teams will make announcement in each sector and village to stay home, to ensure 100% lock down.
2. Since we got few complaints that at some places, public in name of purchasing grocery is going to markets and not maintaining distance, so we had requested some companies to help in home delivery. ITC Ltd has kindly agreed to join hands with Greater Noida Authority to ensure home delivery.
Very soon ITC will be giving you a WhatsApp number and one or two numbers to call and place orders for grocery (whatever they can supply like atta, dal, noodles, biscuit etc )
They will provide list of items along with rate list. One small truck will make ‘CONTACT less delivery’ at your home within 24 hours. We are still tying up for permissions with District and Police administration and arranging passes for them, so bear with us if there is problem initially for day or two.
We need sector / RWA wise volunteers also. Please provide your details to OUR COVID19 – war room and GNIDA helpline whatspap number by writing Volunteer for sector…..and then sending your name, address, email and cell no etc.
We are trying with other agencies such as Mother dairy, and other grocery agencies, idea is you people stay home and don’t come out even for grocery.
We are also trying to send one Thela (cart) to each sector for selling vegetables. My request will be that One resident should come at one time and others should stand at distance of 2 meter in the queue. GNIDA is putting a banner also requesting people to stay at distance of 2 meter on each thela / card.
